The names sound similar, but the location of the gap changes the product you need.
Between the mattress and the headboard
A headboard gap cushion sits across the top end of a mattress. Its purpose is to occupy a compatible space behind the bed pillows. Measure that space’s depth and length, and check the cushion’s profile before choosing.
Between two mattresses
A bed bridge is intended for the seam where two mattresses meet side by side. It may have a different cross-section and may be sold with other parts. A long cushion shown against a headboard should not be assumed to perform this job.
Read the measurements as a set
Length, height and depth all matter. If the supplier has not labeled the axes, ask for a diagram. The size of your bed is a useful reference, but it cannot replace a direct measurement of the actual gap.
Choose for convenience, with clear limits
The Bed Gap Pillow in our planned collection is a headboard cushion, not a mattress-joining system. We do not present it as a rail, restraint or entrapment-prevention device. It is not intended for an infant sleep space. If you need a safety solution, a convenience cushion is not the right substitute.
